The Bar Council is the professional body for barristers in England and Wales. It provides representation and services for the Bar, and guidance on issues of professional practice. Online there is information for barristers and about barristers.

 

The Bar Standards Board (formerly part of the Bar Council) is the regulatory body which over sees the work of barristers. It publishes a wide range of information about barristers generally.
