what's experience

This is the amount of experience the barrister has had as a barrister generally. It is not necessarily the amount of experience he has had in this particular area of the law. Experience is calculated from the year the barrister was formally admitted into a barristers' Inn, which in most cases will be during the first year the barrister starts in a barristers' chambers.

Generally, the more experience the barrister has, the higher the barrister’s fees will be. You can set your parameters for experience by using the minimum and maximum experience options. This will allow you to view barristers who are both likely to be within your price range and have sufficient experience for your case.
